STEWARDS FOR GOOD

We give thanks to all who serve as faithful stewards of God’s gifts of sacred spaces.
We pray that your stewardship magnifies the ways that your buildings and grounds reflect the Light of Christ.

CREATING NEW WAYS TO THRIVE

Our Mission

CBCP provides a model for Indiana Episcopal congregations to increase vitality and serve mission by making the most of their buildings as assets and by developing new and stronger community partnerships.

We are inspired by the foundational work of Partners for Sacred Places that resolutely affirms the value that church buildings and their congregations provide in their communities. We are grateful to Lilly Endowment Inc. for its support of CBCP.

DEVELOPING STRONGER COMMUNITIES

The Work

Our vision is that Episcopal congregations in Indiana will thrive as centers of ministry, community and faith, strengthened by dynamic stewardship of their properties in partnership with others.

We value our buildings and grounds as gifts from God that hold great potential for helping congregations of all sizes live into this vision.

CBCP Offers Congregations:

  • Online Toolkits

  • Connection to Partners for Sacred Places and Indiana Landmarks

  • Success stories and peer-to-peer learning

  • Information integration into diocesan congregational development programs

  • For a limited time: Capital Grants

HELPING SERVE OTHERS

Leadership

Church Buildings for Collaborative Partnerships is itself a partnership, led by the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis, which is called by Christ to welcome and witness in central and southern Indiana, and by the Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana which includes faith communities across the northern third of the state who are committed to living out the Baptismal Covenant as members of the Episcopal Branch of the Jesus Movement.

TOGETHER WE ARE

Partners

CBCP is a collaboration of the Episcopal Diocese of Indianapolis, Episcopal Diocese of Northern Indiana, Partners for Sacred Places, and Indiana Landmarks.

CBCP is made possible by a grant from the Thriving Congregations Initiative of Lilly Endowment Inc.
